Our church will participate in this year’s Philadelphia MCC Benefit Festival. We will be serving up some delicious egg rolls and fried wontons! Come out and support the community, the event will be held at West Philadelphia Mennonite Fellowship on October 29, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Enjoy the auction of handmade items, gifts, and services, international food booths and children’s activities. All proceeds from the Benefit Festival go to support the work of the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Philadelphia and around the world. Come help to out on Saturday, September 17th. We will be cleaning up the church premises, painting and other renovation work. If you have time, stop by between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The annual Eastern Mennonite Missions’ Global Fair held in Lancaster, PA is back again! Come join us on July 23, 2011 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for a day of fun-filled activities. The Global Fair is an outdoor missions and culture festival featuring:
- international foods
- interactive exhibits
- activities for children
- stories from missionaries
- free admission and free parking
Our church (LTCMC) will once again participate in the festivities by cooking up some delicious Chinese food. Come stop by our booth to enjoy home-made dishes prepared by our members.
